1 Cum ergo venerint super te omnes sermones isti, benedictio sive maledictio, quam proposui in conspectu tuo : et ductus pœnitudine cordis tui in universis gentibus, in quas disperserit te Dominus Deus tuus,

Verse 1. And it shall come to pass when all these things are come upon you, and you have experienced the blessedness of obeying the commandments of the Lord, and the misery of disobeying the same, and shall remember this in all the states of evil which you shall bring upon yourself by turning away from the Divine Goodness and Truth,
