¹⁵ പന്ത്രണ്ടു പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരായ യിശ്മായേലിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാര്‍ അവരുടെ ഊരുകളിലും പാളയങ്ങളിലും വംശംവംശമായി ഇവര്‍ ആകുന്നു; അവരുടെ പേരുകള്‍ ഇവ തന്നേ.

³² If after the manner of men I have fought with beasts at Ephesus, what advantageth it me, if the dead rise not? let us eat and drink; for to morrow we die.

¹⁹ ഇവര്‍ എദോം എന്നും പേരുള്ള ഏശാവിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരും അവരില്‍നിന്നു ഉത്ഭവിച്ച പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരും ആകുന്നു.
