7221. 'To send the children of Israel out of his land' means to go away and leave them. This is clear from the meaning of 'sending' as going away and leaving; from the representation of 'the children of Israel' as those who belong to the spiritual Church, dealt with often; and from the meaning of 'the land of Egypt' as a state of molestations. From all this it is evident that 'to send the children of Israel out of his land' means that they should leave those who belong to the spiritual Church and not molest them.
