¹⁸ Neige deine Ohren, mein Gott, und höre, tue deine Augen auf und siehe, wie wir verstört sind, und die Stadt, die nach deinem Namen genannt ist! Denn wir liegen vor dir mit unserm Gebet, nicht auf unsere Gerechtigkeit, sondern auf deine große Barmherzigkeit.

¹⁶ Und ich hörete zwischen Ulai eines Menschen Stimme, der rief und sprach: Gabriel, lege diesem das Gesicht aus, daß er's verstehe!

¹⁵ I will destroy mountains and hills, and dry up all their herbs. I will make the rivers islands, and will dry up the pools.

¹⁶ I will bring the blind by a way that they don't know. I will lead them in paths that they don't know. I will make darkness light before them, and crooked places straight. I will do these things, and I will not forsake them.
