⁶ Si la sentinelle voit venir l'épée, et ne sonne pas de la trompette; si le peuple n'est pas averti, et que l'épée vienne enlever à quelqu'un la vie, celui-ci périra à cause de son iniquité, mais je redemanderai son sang à la sentinelle.

³⁶ then hear in heaven, and forgive the sin of your servants, and of your people Israel, when you teach them the good way in which they should walk; and send rain on your land, which you have given to your people for an inheritance.
