And when a stranger shall sojourn with thee, and will keep the passover to Jehovah, let all his males be circumcised, and then let him come near and keep it; and he shall be as one that is born in the land: but no uncircumcised person shall eat thereof.
7948. 'That Jehovah struck all the firstborn in the land of Egypt' means the damnation of faith separated from charity. This is clear from the meaning of 'striking as damnation, as in 7871; and from the meaning of 'the firstborn in the land of Egypt' as faith separated from charity, dealt with in 7039, 7766, 7778.
