1591. Genesis 13:11. And Lot chose for himself all the plain of the Jordan; and Lot set out from the east, and they separated, a man from his brother.

Lot chose for himself all the plain of the Jordan symbolizes the outer self and its character. And Lot set out from the east symbolizes those traits in the outer self that withdraw from heavenly love. And they separated, a man from his brother, means that those things separate.
