1. INCWADI KAGENESIS

Kakho umuntu ongabona ngokusukela engqondweni yemvelo yeZwi yeThestamente eliDala ukuthi lengxenye yeZwi imumethe izimfihlo zasezulwini ezijulile, nokuthi konke okuqukethwe kuyo, kabanzi nangemininingwane, kuphathelene neNkosi, nezulu laYo, nesonto, nenkolo, nazozonke izinto ezixhumene nalezizinto. Ngokuba engqondweni yemvelo noma yamabala yalengxenye yeZwi, umuntu angabona kuphela—kabanzi—ukuthi zonke izinto kuyo ziphathelene namasiko nemithetho eSonto lamaJuda. Nokho iqiniso elimsulwa wukuthi kulolo nke leloZwi kukhona okungaphakathi okungaveli nakancane kokungaphandle ngaphandle kokuyingcosane okwadalulwa futhi kwachazwa yiNkosi kuBafundi baYo; njengokuthi imihlabelo ifanekisa iNkosi; ukuthi izwe laseK-hanana neJerusalema kufanekisa izulu—okuyisizathu sokuba kubizwe ngeKhanana lasezulwini nangeJerusalema lasezulwini—nokuthi iPharadisi lifanekisa okufanayo. 1409. Ukuthi izenzeko zomlando njengoba zichaziwe ziyafanekisa, kodwa onke amagama achazayo amamuthe incazelo kamoya kubasobala ngosekuphawuliwe kwabuye kwakhonjiswa malungana nezifanekiso nangezinto ezimumethe incazelo kamoya ezinombolweni 665, 920, 1361 Kodwa njengoba izifanekiso ziqala lapha, ilungile enye incazelo efuphi ngalokhu. ISonto laseMandulondulo, elaliyiSonto lezulu lamazulu, lalithatha zonke izinto zemvelo, zomhlaba, nezomzimba, okwakuvele kuyizinto ezazaziwa ngesu lezinzwa zabantu balo, njengezinto ezingelutho olunye ngaphandle kwezinto ezifileyo. Kodwa ngesizathu sokuthi zonke izinto emhlabeni ziveza umqondo othile wombuso weNkosi, nakanjalo ziveza umqondo othile wezinto zezulu lamazulu nezezulu likamoya, ngakhoke abantu baleloSonto babengacabangi ngalezozinto ababezibona phambi kwabo noma bezazi ngesu lezinzwa, kepha babecabanga ngezinto zezulu lamazulu nangezinto zezulu likamoya. Empeleni babengacabangi ngokusukela kulezozinto kepha babecabanga ngesu lazo. Ngalendlela izinto ezazifile kubo zazivuka ziphile.

Kepha lapho lezizimfundiso seziqala ukushabalala, nalapho abantu beSonto laseMandulo bengasazazi izinto zangaphakathi ezifundiswayo, baqala ukuthatha zona lezizinto zemvelo nezomhlaba ezinencazelo kamoya njengezinto ezingcwele, bazikhonza, bengasenawo nomncane umcabango wokuthi ziyafanekisa, lezozinto zemvelo nomhlaba zaqala ukuba yizifanekiso. Ngalokhu kwavumbuka iSonto elifanekisayo elaqala ngoAbrama nangemuva kwakhe lasungulwa ezizukulwaneni zikaJakobe. Ngokusukela kulokhu, makwaziwe ukuthi izifanekiso zasuka zavumbuka ezintweni ezazimumethe incazelo kamoya eSontweni laseMandulo, nokuthi lezozinto ezazimumethe incazelo kamoya zazisuka emiqondweni yezulu lamazulu yeSonto laseMandulondulo.

[3] Ukuthi izifanekiso zinjani kubasobala ngezingxenye zeZwi eziwumlando, lapho zonke izenzo zalabokhokho, okungukuthi, izenzo zikaAbrama, zikaIsaka, nezikaJakobe, nakamuva zikaMose, zabAhluleli, nezamakhosi akwaJuda nawakwaIsrayeli, zingelutho olunye ngaphandle kwezifanekiso. Nanjengoba sekuke kwaphawulwa ngenhla, eZwini ngo “Abrama” kufanekiswa iNkosi, nangoba ufanekisa iNkosi, ngakho-ke ufanekisa umuntu wezulu lamazulu. No “Isaka” ufanekisa iNkosi, nangalokho ufanekisa umuntu kamoya, kanti no “Jakobe” ufanekisa iNkosi, nangalokho ufanekisa umuntu wemvelo ohambisana noma ofanelene nomuntu kamoya.

[4] Kodwa ubunjalo bezifanekiso buwukuba isimilo somuntu ofanekisayo singakhankanywa noma singabhekwa, kubhekwe kuphela lokho akufanekisayo. Ngokuba onke amakhosi akwaJuda nakwaIsrayeli, noma ngabe isimilo sawo sasinjani, ayefanekisa uBukhosi beNkosi, nabobonke abaphristi, noma ngabe babenhloboni yabantu, babefanekisa uBuphristi baYo. Kanjalo abantu ababi nabantu abalungileyo babekwazi ukufanekisa iNkosi, nezinto zezulu lamazulu nezezulu likamoya zombuso waYo, ngokuba, njengoba sekuphawuliwe kwabuye kwakhonjiswa, izifanekiso zazingahlanganise lutho noma zahluke geqe kumuntu ofanekisayo. Ngakho-ke yonke imilando eseZwini iyafanekisa, nanjengoba lokhu kuyiqiniso, kuyalandela ukuthi amagama aseZwini ayaqhamisa noma amumethe incazelo kamoya, okungukuthi, asho okwahlukile engqondweni engaphakathi kokushiwo engqondweni yemvelo noma engaphandle.

6053. MAYELANA NOMNGENELA, NAMAYELANA NOKUHLANGANA KOMPHEFUMULO NOMZIMBA.

Akukho lutho, ngisho noluncane, olungaziwa noma olungacatshangwa mayelana nomngenela, nangamayelana nokuhlangana noma nokukhulumisana komphefumulo nomzimba, ngaphandle kokuba nolwazi lokuthi umphefumulo uyini, nokuthi sinjani isimilo sawo. Uma kungaziwa lutho nhlobo ngomphefumulo, kakukho ngisho noluncane olungashiwo ngomngenela wawo nokukhulumisana kwawo nomzimba wawo. Ngokuba kungacatshangwa kanjani ngokukhulumisana kwezinhlangothi ezimbili uma kungekho ngisho noluncane ulwazi mayelana nolunye uhlangothi? Ukuthi lokhu kungazi lutho ngomphefumulo nangesimilo sawo yikhona okubusayo namuhla, ikakhulu phakathi kwezifundiswa, kusobala ngokuthi abanye abantu bakholwa ukuthi umphefumulo uyinto ewumoya olula, abanye bakholwa ukuthi uyinto esalangabi noma esamlilo, abanye bakholwa ukuthi uyingqikithi ethile ecwebile futhi ecabangayo, abanye bakholwa ukuthi ungamandla noma isidlakadla kabanzi esithile, kanti abanye bakholwa ukuthi umphefumulo ungubukhuphekhuphe bemvelo. Nobunye ubufakazi bokungazi lutho ngomphefumulo namuhla wukuthi abantu babela umphefumulo ezingxenyeneni ezahlukene zomzimba; abanye bathi umphefumulo usenhliziyweni, abanye bathi usebuchosheni nasemicwini yabo, abanye bathi usezinkothweni zenhliziyo, abanye bathi usendlaleni encane, kanti abanye bathi ukuwowonke umzimba, kepha lapho besho njalo basuke besho impilo ekhona kuzozonke izinto eziphilayo. Ngakhokonke lokhu kuyachacha ukuthi kakukho lutho olwaziwayo mayelana nomphefumulo, yingakho konke okukholwa nokushiwo ngabantu ngomphefumulo kungukungathekisa nokuqagela nje kuphela. Nanjengoba ngokungazi lutho kwabantu ngomphefumulo kabanakuqonda lutho ngawo, abantu abaningi kabakwazanga ukugwema inkolo yokuthi umphefumulo ungubukhuphekhuphe obuthile obuphela ngokufa mhla umzimba ufa. Kungalesisizathu ukuba izifundiswa zingakholwa kakhulu kuneminguphane ukuthi kukhona impilo ngemuva kokufa; nangenxa yokungakholwa ukuthi kuyaphilwa ngemuva kokufa, kabazikholwa futhi nezinto ezingezempilo yangemuva kokufa, ezingezezulu nezingezikamoya zenkolo nothando. Lokhu kuyavela emazwini eNkosi kuMathewu, lapho ithi khona:

Baba, Nkosi yezulu nomhlaba, ukufihlile lokhu kwabahlakaniphileyo nabakhaliphileyo, wakwambulela izingane (Mathewu 11:25).

Futhi:

Noma bebona, kababoni, noma bezwa, kabezwa, futhi kabaqondi (Mathewu 13:13).

Ngokuba iminguphane noma abantu abangafundile kabanayo imicabango enjengaleyo mayelana nomphefumulo; kepha yethemba ukuthi iyophila ngemuva kokufa; nakulelothemba lobunguphane kucashe inkolo yokuthi iyophila njengabantu emva kokufa, ibone izingelosi, ixoxe nazo, futhi izitike ngentokozo noma ngenjabulo yakuleyompilo, yize yona ingenalwazi lokuthi kucashe leyonkolo ethembeni layo.
