En la Bula del Papa Pio IV de fecha 13 de noviembre de 1564, están las siguientes palabras: “Abrazo y recibo todas y cada una de las cosas que el excelentísimo Concilio de Trento ha determinado y declarado con respecto al pecado original y la justificación”.

258. 'Treading down' or bruising is used to mean forcing down so that it goes on its belly and eats dust. This is clear from this and from the previous verse. A similar usage also occurs in Isaiah, Jehovah has cast down the inhabitants of the height, the lofty city. He will lay it low, He will lay it low even to the ground, He will throw it down even into the dust. The foot will trample on it. Isaiah 16:5, 6.

And also,

With His hand He will cast them down to the earth, they will be trodden under foot, the haughty crown. Isaiah 28:2-3.
