"And when they had seen it, they made known abroad the saying which was told them concerning this child.... And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all that they had heard and seen, as it was spoken to them." (Luke 2:17, 20)

The birth of Jesus Christ was, and is, astoundingly good news for all people everywhere, for all time. "Glory to God in the highest. On earth, peace; good will toward men."
