Kid
'A kid of the goats,' as in Genesis 27:16, signifies truths of domestic good. It also signifies the innocence of the external or natural self, and therefore the truth and good of the natural self.
In Isaiah 11:6, this signifies the genuine truth of the church and as well as innocence and charity.
'Thou shalt not seethe a kid in his mother's milk,' as in Exodus 23:19, signifies that the good of the innocence of a later state is not to be conjoined with the truth of the innocence of a prior state.
