Hosea 7:9

⁹ Devoured have strangers his power, And he hath not known, Also old age hath sprinkled [itself] on him, And he hath not known.

A bow signifies falsity of doctrine destroying truth, and spear, the falsity of evil destroying good. (Jeremiah 6:23)
