3711. And behold I am with thee. That this signifies what is Divine; and that “I will keep thee whithersoever thou goest” signifies the Divine Providence, is evident from the fact that “I” here is Jehovah, thus the Divine of the Lord; and from the signification of “keeping thee whithersoever thou goest,” as being Providence from the Divine; and because the Lord is treated of, the Divine Providence is signified. By the Divine and the Divine Providence is here meant that the Lord should make even His natural Divine.
