3443. 'And he called on the name of Jehovah' means the worship derived from there. This is clear from the meaning of 'calling on the name of Jehovah' as worship, dealt with in 440, 2724, and the fact that 'the name of Jehovah' is everything in its entirety by which the Lord is worshipped, 2628, 2724, 3006.
