At ang mga korderong ito ay inihihiwalay ni Jacob, at inihaharap ang kawan sa dakong may batik, at ang lahat ng maitim sa kawan ni Laban; sa kaniyang ibinukod ang mga kawan niya rin, at hindi isinama sa kawan ni Laban.

3945. Give me I pray of thy son’s dudaim. That this signifies the affection of and longing for the things of conjugial love, with which it might be mutually and alternately conjoined, is evident from the signification of the “dudaim,” as being the things of conjugial love (n. 3942).
