⁸ Nego i ljudi i stoka da se pokriju kostreću, i da prizivaju Boga jako, i da se vrati svaki sa svog zlog puta i od nepravde koja mu je u ruku.

² I pomoli se Gospodu i reče: Gospode! Ne rekoh li to kad još bejah u svojoj zemlji? Zato htedoh pre pobeći u Tarsis; jer znah da si Ti Bog milostiv i žalostiv, spor na gnev i obilan milosrđem i kaješ se oda zla.

² They have gone up to Bayith, and to Dibon, to the high places, to weep. Moab wails over Nebo and over Medeba. Baldness is on all of their heads. Every beard is cut off.

³ In their streets, they clothe themselves in sackcloth. In their streets and on their housetops, everyone wails, weeping abundantly.
