2948. 'Bury your dead' means that they may emerge from night and be raised up again. This is clear from the meaning of 'burying' as rising again, or what amounts to the same, being raised up again, and from the meaning of 'one who is dead' as night as regards goods and truths of faith, dealt with above in 2917, 2923, 2925, 2931, where the same words occur.
