¹⁴ Jie jam sakė: “Ar žinai, kad Baalis, amonitų karalius, atsiuntė Izmaelį, Netanijo sūnų, tavęs nužudyti?” Bet Gedolijas, Ahikamo sūnus, jais netikėjo.

² pakilo Izmaelis, Netanijo sūnus, ir dešimt su juo buvusių vyrų ir nužudė kardu Gedoliją, Šafano sūnaus Ahikamo sūnų, kurį Babilono karalius buvo paskyręs krašto valdytoju.

⁶ therefore you go, and read in the scroll, which you have written from my mouth, the words of Yahweh in the ears of the people in Yahweh's house on the fast day; and also you shall read them in the ears of all Judah who come out of their cities.
