In order that the infinity of God may be perceived in some way, it has pleased the Lord to describe His infinity with these words, 'I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty,' in Revelation 1:8. Consequently, these words include everything that an angel or person could ever conceive of regarding the Divine.
