This is clear from the meaning of 'seed' as faith that comes from charity, and also charity itself, dealt with in 1025, 1447, 1610, 2848, 3373; and 'making it like the sand of the sea which cannot be counted for multitude' obviously means the multiplication of these. 'Fruitfulness' is used in reference to the good of charity, and 'multiplication' to the truth of faith, 913, 983, 2846, 2847.
