Denn ich habe ihn erkannt, auf daß er seinen Kindern und seinem Hause nach ihm befehle, (And. üb. Ich kenne ihn, daß er seinen Kindern
befehlen wird) daß sie den Weg Jehovas bewahren, Gerechtigkeit und
echt zu üben, (O. indem Sie Gerechtigkeit und
echt üben) damit Jehova auf Abraham kommen lasse, was er über ihn geredet hat.
2259. Verse 26 And Jehovah said, If I find in Sodom fifty righteous persons in the midst of the city, I will spare the whole place for their sakes.
Jehovah said' means perception. 'If I find in Sodom fifty righteous persons in the midst of the city' means here, as previously, if truths are full of goods. 'I will spare the whole place for their sakes' means that they will be saved.
