And he separated the name day the she goats, and the sheep, and the he goats, and the rams of divers colours, and spotted: and all the flock of one colour, that is, of white and black fleece, he delivered into the hands of his sons.
4141. 'Let my hand be for God to do you evil!' means a state of anger if it did possess the power. This is clear from the meaning of 'hand' as power, dealt with in 878, 3387. The fact that it is a state of anger in which these words were spoken and which is meant by them is self-evident.
