Ezekiel 30:9

9 In that day shall messengers go forth from my face in ships to destroy the confidence of Ethiopia, and there shall be dread among them in the day of Egypt: because it shall certainly come.

Commentary

 

Vengeance, day of

  

In Isaiah 34:8; 63:4, the day of vengeance signifies a state of damnation; also the Last Judgment. (Apocalypse Explained 413[6, 7])

'Day of vengeance' signifies a state of damnation.
