And since every period of time means a state, 2625, 2788, 2837, 3356, the earliest period of the day or the morning accordingly means the enlightenment belonging to that state, that is, in that state. The enlightenment has regard to that which follows shortly, that is to say, his acknowledgement that it was a joining merely to external truth.
