3013. This is the way the inner meaning describes the introduction process: The Lord had reduced everything in himself into a divinely heavenlike order, so that divine truth could unite with the divine goodness in his rational mind. (The union was to come in the usual way, from his earthly self-specifically from the secular facts, religious knowledge, and teachings present in his earthly self.) So when it was time, and the Lord had reduced everything to order in this way, then by means of his divine inflow he called truth up out of his earthly self, introduced it to the goodness in his rational mind, and made it divine. Just as the Lord had made his rational mind divine in regard to goodness, then, he also made it divine in regard to truth.
