¹⁶ I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give witness to you of these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, the bright and morning star.

¹⁷ והרוח והכלה אמרים בא והשמע יאמר בא והצמא יבוא והחפץ יקח מים חיים חנם׃

²⁹ He who has the bride is the bridegroom; but the friend of the bridegroom, who stands and hears him, rejoices greatly because of the bridegroom's voice. This, my joy, therefore is made full.
