And the responsible men of the children of Israel, whom Pharaoh's overseers had putover them, were given blows, and they said to them, Why have you not done your regular work, in making bricks as before?
7126. 'Thus said Pharaoh' means regarding the molestations. This is clear from the representation of 'Pharaoh' as the ones who molest those who belong to the spiritual Church, dealt with several times already; so it is that molestation is meant.
