Isaiah 9:12

Study

       

12 the Syrians before, and the Philistines behind; and they shall devour Israel with open mouth. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.

Commentary

 

Right hand

  

'The right hand' signifies the whole of a person regarding intellectual power and faith. 'To place the right hand on the head,' signifies putting it first.
