Amos 9:7

⁷ Are ye not as the children of the Ethiopians unto me, O children of Israel? saith Jehovah. Have not I brought up Israel out of the land of Egypt, and the Philistines from Caphtor, and the Syrians from Kir?

In Deuteronomy 3:11, they signify the church in its externals, or the natural man. (Apocalypse Explained 1638)

In Psalm 68:15, this signifies good willed, as it exists in people in the externals of the church. (Apocalypse Explained 405[13])
