5 in the first month, on the fourteenth of the month, between the evenings, [is] the passover to Jehovah;

Verse 5. And the first subordinate state is one of deliverance from evil by the Lord, in which the state of faith from love is predominant, and is accompanied by a state of holiness, through submission to Divine Truth both as to the will and understanding.
