23 Surely they shall not see the land which I swore to their fathers, neither shall any of them that provoked me see it:

Verse 23. They cannot enter into the heavenly state, which is from the Lord by irrevocable confirmation with the good; nor especially can they do so, who have confirmed evil by falsity.
