44 Nguni't sila'y nagpumilit umakyat sa taluktok ng bundok: gayon ma'y ang kaban ng tipan ng Panginoon, at si Moises ay hindi nagsilabas sa kampamento.

Verse 44. But, nevertheless, the man in this external state is presumptuous, and elevates himself as if sure of victory; yet such have no interior conjunction with the Lord, and with Divine Truth; nor are they prepared for a real conflict.
