28 Huwag ninyong kukudlitan ang inyong laman dahil sa namatay: ni huwag ninyong lilimbagan ang inyong laman ng anomang tanda; ako ang Panginoon.

Verse 28. Nor shall the spiritual man imagine that by outward mortification he can remove evil, or by external worship only, promote permanent good; for all true worship is by genuine good from the Lord.
