18 Och HERREN har i dag hört dig förklara att du vill vara hans egendomsfolk, såsom han har sagt till dig, och att du vill hålla alla hans bud;

Verse 18. And the Lord betrothes the soul to Himself in that state, and it becomes more immediately conjoined to Him, according to His promises in the Word, to enable it to conform the life to His will;
