2 И взглянулъ Валаамъ очами своими и увидјлъ Израиля, стоявшаго станомъ по колјнамъ своимъ, и былъ на немъ Духъ Божій.

Verse 2. And consequently also Divine worship is profaned by falsities; evil is appropriated; and there is a decline to a state of falsity from corrupted good.
