13 Om Balak gav mig sitt hus fullt av sølv og gull, kunde jeg ikke overtrede Herrens ord og gjøre noget efter mitt eget tykke, enten godt eller ondt; jeg kan ikke tale annet enn hvad Herren sier.

Verse 13. That although he should be enriched with an abundance of knowledge and delight in the understanding, yet that could not change the truth, nor could it promote both good and evil; for the truth is not from man, but from the Lord who is unchangeable.
