12 Den tredje og den syvende dag skal han rense sig med vannet,* så blir han ren; men renser han sig ikke den tredje dag og den syvende dag, da blir han ikke ren. / {* renselsesvannet, 4MO 19, 9.}

Verse 12. Because purification must be perfect and complete both as to truth and as to good, and thus must be continual during regeneration; for if this is not so, then no state of perfect regeneration can be reached.
