22 και καταναλωσει κυριος ο θεος σου τα εθνη ταυτα απο προσωπου σου κατα μικρον μικρον ου δυνηση εξαναλωσαι αυτους το ταχος ινα μη γενηται η γη ερημος και πληθυνθη επι σε τα θηρια τα αγρια

Verse 22. And the Divine Love and Wisdom will drive out the hereditary evils of the unregenerate heart by degrees; they cannot be driven out at once, for thereby the lower evil lusts would multiply upon the soul.
