10 καὶ εὐχὴ χήρας καὶ ἐκβεβλημένης ὅσα ἂν εὔξηται κατὰ τῆς ψυχῆς αὐτῆς μενοῦσιν αὐτῇ

Verse 9. But devotion from merely selfish motives, either because truth has been rejected, or good has been adulterated, shall surely be followed by the confirmation of evil.
