36 And the men◦ whom Moses sent to explore the land, and who returned and made all the congregation to murmur against Him by bringing·​·out an evil·​·report against the land,

Verse 36. And those who, having had the opportunity of choosing good and truth, turn away from them and intensify the state of temptation with the man of the church, because they are unwilling to engage in the conflict against evil.
