38 אני יהוה אלהיכם אשר־הוצאתי אתכם מארץ מצרים לתת לכם את־ארץ כנען להיות לכם לאלהים׃ ס

Verse 38. Because the Lord acts from pure love and truth, and has redeemed the spiritual man from all such motives, in order that he may receive good from the Lord, and thereby, also truth.
