49 Ησαν δε οι αποθανοντες εις την θραυσιν δεκατεσσαρες χιλιαδες και επτακοσιοι, εκτος των αποθανοντων εξ αιτιας του Κορε.

Verse 49. For there must be the destruction of remains when man totally profanes the good and truth of the church, as well as when he makes outward devotion the all of worship.
