38 Εγω ειμαι Κυριος ο Θεος σας, οστις εξηγαγον σας εκ γης Αιγυπτου, δια να δωσω εις εσας την γην Χανααν, ωστε να ημαι Θεος σας.

Verse 38. Because the Lord acts from pure love and truth, and has redeemed the spiritual man from all such motives, in order that he may receive good from the Lord, and thereby, also truth.
