35 Minun on kosto, minä kostan, heidän jalkansa pitää ajallansa kompastuman; sillä heidän kadotuksensa aika on läsnä, ja mikä heille tarjontelee, se rientää.

Verse 35. Divine order appoints punishment or reward for every action of man; the power shall at length be taken from the evil to tempt man's lower nature: it is absolutely certain that they will perish, the zeal of the Lord for the safety of the soul requires it.
