33 And they set forward from the mountain of Jehovah [and went] three days' journey; and the ark of the covenant of Jehovah went before them in the three days' journey, to search out a resting-place for them.

Verse 33. For then the whole church advances from an obscure state of love to the Lord by successive degrees, since Divine Good and Divine Truth conjoined lead the way, through states of conflict to a state of rest and peace.
