21 Thou shalt not plant thyself an Asherah of any wood near unto the altar of Jehovah thy God, which thou shalt make thee.

Verse 21. You shall not commingle anything of self-derived human wisdom and intelligence with the holy worship of Divine Love and Wisdom, which you shall receive and offer to the Lord.
