12 Then Jehoiachin, king of Judah, went out to the king of Babylon, with his mother and his servants and his chiefs and his unsexed servants; and in the eighth year of his rule the king of Babylon took him.

Verse 12. And therefore the ruling principle of the corrupted church —which is, ostensibly, Divine Truth—is, in that new state, conjoined to the love of dominion, together with all its affections— namely, the external affections of the natural man and the internal affections thereof—as to the will and as to the understanding.
