Leviticus 22:27

27 When a bullock, or a sheep, or a goat, is brought forth, then it shall be seven days under the dam; and from the eighth day and thenceforth it shall be accepted for the oblation of an offering made by fire unto Jehovah.

Verse 27. That every incipient natural affection, or spiritual affection, or affection of truth, is to be purified through the operation of the principle of good in the church; and that then in the new state following, it shall be devoted to the service of the Lord in genuine spiritual worship.
