49 Jehovah will bring a nation against thee from far, from the end of the earth, as the eagle flieth; a nation whose tongue thou shalt not understand;

Verse 49. And a new state of evil shall come upon you from the domination of external things with false reasonings thence derived; in which you will utterly lose the faculty of understanding what is good and true;
