12 Notwithstanding in thy days I will not do it, for David thy father's sake: but I will rend it out of the hand of thy son.

Verse 12. Nevertheless this cannot be effected until the corrupted celestial church is fully consummated, or until all charity and faith are about to perish, and a new state follows.
